Selective Color

I choose this picture for my selective color because the color of the bird really caught my eye when I saw it, also it kind of looks like the bird has a colorful Mohawk on it.
I really like my final result of this because with the background being dull and dark it makes the color of the feathers on the bird stand out more.

Pictorialist 2

A pictorialist is emphasis on purely photographic or scenic qualities for its own sake, sometimes with a static or lifeless effect. I used a blur filter to make my picture look more smooth like a painting. I liked how this picture turned out better then my first one because it looks more like a painting like I was going for.

I created my picture by using a sketch filter and then a smooth brush to go over it so it would not look so static.

Photoshop is used for editing pictures and touching them up.

I did not like the result of the filter because it is hard to tell the difference of the two pictures 

Cliche Verre

A Cliche Verre it is a painting on a piece of glass or either something transparent.
When I created this I printed out a picture of a butterfly, I then used as piece of plastic clear film on top of it and traced out the picture with the paint, After that i let it dry and I then went into the dark room and took a picture of it on a blank piece of film. Finally I went through the steps to develop the picture and then did an negative picture of the positive one.
I choose this picture because I thought that using a butterfly with a lot of colors would come out really pretty with the different grays, blacks, and whites.
I really loved my final result because it perfectly showed all the different variety of the grays, blacks, and whites inside my picture

Pinhole

1. A pinhole picture is where you take a picture with just this can that has a hole in it and a peace of film paper that when it is exposed to sunlight it shapes out the figure onto your film paper.
2. I made this photo with a more bigger can. I sat on the tire outside of my school on the football fiekl and had my friend take off the piece of tap that was on it and kept it open for 10 seconds then she put the tape back over it. I then went into the dark room and did all of the step to develop the picture.
3. I really did like my final result but I did not have enough time to do the negative version of this picture.

Cartoon

                                   

This is a portrait of me (Brandy Powell). My challenges with this assignment is deffanity making my teeth and finding the similar color for my hair since I am a ginger. What I like about my cartoon picture is the color of my eyes and how I actually got to put freckles onto my face.

Camera Cbscure

This that I am holding up is called a Camera Obscure. A camera obscure is a darkened box with a convex lens or aperture for projecting the image of an external object onto a screen inside. It is important historically in the development of photography. 

I made my camera obscure by getting two cups and painting the inside of the black. I then took some plastic paper and taped it around the edges of the cup. I then taped the two cups together. After I taped the two cups together I painted it and made two holes on the top and bottom.

When I first looked into my camera obscure I saw the cars going passing by on the high way and the big trees that are in front of my school.

I think that the camera obscures are fun to use butt he main part I like about the project is that we got to design them the way that wanted to.

6 Word Memoir

 A 6 word memoir is is the story of your life some part of it, or all of it told in exactly six words. 
     
 One of the main reasons of why I choose the six words " Stars Can't Shine Without Darkness" is because everyone has to go through a struggle in their life at one point and time to make them who they are today. Another reason is because I am basically saying that everything that I have had to deal with in the past is behind me and I am shining bright today because it made me become a better person. 

I really like the way that my final product came out because the six words and my picture goes perfectly together. The main thing that I will about my final product is how bright my smile is because it is what basically makes my 6 words stand out the most.
